Freudenberg no. 1
On your arrival in Freudenberg (parking lot at the Main river) your tour guide joins you in your bus and leads you up to the ruins of the Freudenberg castle, an ancient witness to the eventful history of Mainfranken. After a guided tour you go to the city hall and watch an interesting film about the history and the sights of the Nibelungen town.
After the film a fine fruit brandy from the "Ziegler" distillery which is known all over the world, is served. And then you may go shopping, visit the museum for ship models or the photographic museum in the historic "Amtshaus" before you have lunch. In the afternoon we recommend a nice walk around the lake or you can visit the kangaroos and other animals at the preserve "Rauch-Zoo".
